About Me

Having grown up in the family business as the son of a custom home builder, entrepreneur, and business man, serving the needs of others is in my blood.  Living in Texas since 1993, has allowed me to establish many on going professional relationships with a variety of top companies, and great people in Austin, and the surrounding areas.

As a kid from a small Kentucky town, I remember there was always a lot of love to go around.  I had many Aunts and Uncles that looked after me, while my parents worked long hours at Fort Knox.  Uncle Charlie, in particular I remember having always a smile on his face, was one of my favorites.  Whenever I saw him, he was always prepared and quick with a joke, or an interesting magic trick.

After my dad earned his degree in Business Administration, he decided that he had had enough of the cold Kentucky farm living.  Leaving the snow behind, he traded in his tractor moving the family to the warm sunny coast of South Carolina.

While growing up in Beaufort, I attended grade school playing a lot of basketball all through my primary years, then turning to baseball my junior year lettering in that sport where I played center field.

After graduation, I attended the University of South Carolina earning my Bachelors of Science in Science & Mathematics with a minor in Aerospace Studies.

After college and my first "real" job so to speak, I moved to Texas where I continued working as a computer technician, then moving to Austin as a field engineer for a local environmental engineering firm. The company was subsequently bought out.  After which I decided to turn to real estate, becoming licensed in the State of Texas.

During the late 90s, and with the economy booming, I was working both in real estate, and much in demand as a computer consultant.

In 2002, with the dotcom bust, and subsequent downturn in technology sector, having a little extra capital on hand, I turned my focus in learning the art of self-directed electronic trading.

Since then, I have continued working as an entrepreneur over the years, starting several businesses, all the while continuing to follow my passion for the markets, more recently developing my own proprietary set of charts (paint bars, indicators, and algorithmic trading strategies).

Things I Can Do

I am an entrepreneur, business, and family man.  When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, walking, or playing a friendly game of tennis for exercise.
